When the world heard that Argentina would be playing Haiti in an international friendly, nobody thought they would win. The small island nation are virtually impossible to beat, thanks to such incredible talents as the renowned Duckens Nazon. But Argentina proved everyone wrong, sinking 4 impossible goals to steal a shock victory.

The hero of the match was a newly discovered forward by the name of Lionel Messi, who netted a hattrick past the world’s best goalkeeper, Johny Placide. Messi was helped along by such other B-grade players as Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, and Angel Di Maria – mere nobodies compared with the famous Haiti lineup. There isn’t a boy alive that doesn’t know the name Mikaël Cantave.

Football fans are still in shock, amazed that the international team ranked 5th in the world managed to defeat the country ranked an impressive 108th. It’s even more of an achievement when you consider that Argentina has a population a measly 4 times higher, a GDP of just 68 times more, and a scant land mass of only 100 times larger than Haiti.

Nobody could have predicted this would happen. The last time Haiti lost, it was to fellow giants Nicaragua, who are in a whole different league. Maybe one day, if they train hard enough, Argentina will beat them too. Now that would be a real fairytale.
