French President Emmanuel Macron is embarrassed that he directed his lust towards the wrong member of the Turnbull family.

In a press conference this afternoon, Emmanuel Macron thanked Malcolm Turnbull and his ‘delicious’ wife Lucy for their hospitality. The French President has now released a statement apologising for the mix up, and explaining that he actually intended the comment for Turnbull’s daughter, Daisy.

“Lucy is a handsome woman, but I definitely don’t find her delicious,” Macron stated. “Her daughter on the other hand – well I’d take a bite out of her any day.”

The Frenchman seemed to express true remorse for the mistake, and hopes it doesn’t affect his chances with Daisy, the “hot piece of ass.”

“I’m sorry if I led you on, Lucy, but there is only one Turnbull for my baguette.”
